Finished!

I finished my Jaywalkers about 2 weeks ago, but it's been over 95 every day this month and modeling wool socks wasn't really something I was looking forward to doing. So I positioned myself in front of the AC today and finally took the photo!

I realized on the second one that I'd been doing the double decrease wrong -- I'd been slipping the stitches individually rather than at once. So the one on the right has an intriguing twistyness that the correctly-knitted one on the left lacks. Once I got over my second-sock syndrome, the second one got done really, really fast.

I really like this sock, I like how it looks and fits, and I'll probably make another pair. I love the Kaffe Fasset colorways Regia yarns has just put out -- the socks definitely look cooler when they're made in a self-striping yarn!

I have learned so much from this knitalong! Thanks, y'all!

I love the purple-y color!

LOL! I've been doing the double decrease individually, too! Well, we can say...'We did it our way'! :o)
