I thought someone would have answered you by now, so since no one has, I'll give you my 2 cents!! I think it will be fine. I am actually doing these magic loop & I have never done magic loop before. I'm about to finish the heel & pick up stitches. I'm a little nervous about that part, but I'm sure I'll do fine....I hope! You will too!! Do 2 circs!
I am thinking of knitting this pattern again after I get done with some other socks I am working on. (It really was a fun knit!) When I do I will be doing two circs so if I get to it before you do I will post something.

I thought it could be done without too much effort. The pattern has an even number of stiches. I will keep you all posted

I just read this post so I'll tell you, I knitted my jaywalker on 2 circs. it was just fine. good luck!
