I finally finished!

Yep, just finished my second sock.........it sure looks better than my first one. Gee, it only took me 10 months! I put the first sock away after it was half way done for many months & finally picked them back up in March. No reason to take another picture, it would look the same in a photo, but I can see that I am a better knitter now than I was last year!! :)

One Jaywalker Down!! SSS to Follow??

Finally, here's a finished one. I started these in July. Wasn't sure that I'd get back to them. The yarn is Socks That Rock, I think the color is Rolling Stone. Size 1 needles. I made the "smaller" size. Hard to go over my heel, but it's loose everywhere else.

Moderator

I'm resigning as moderator. Unfortunately with baby number 2 on the way, and life being hectic with my yarn shop (www.robynsnest.ca) I do not have the time.

If anyone would like to step-up and take over - let me know!

Otherwise, by April 15th (mid month), I'll be removing myself from the site, and no one will have admin privileges to add anyone, etc.

So, please let me know if you want to step up. This job will also include the website's gmail account, to check to see if anyone wants to join. Hopefully someone will take over and pump up this KAL!

Cheers!

Noro Jaywalkers

I cast on my first Jaywalkers about a week ago with a very bright Noro sock yarn color way 92. I am working the socks on 2 circulars and making the leg a wee bit longer 7 1/2 inches. I will post a picture soon.
Happy knitting

January Jaywalkers

My first project of the year was this pair of Jaywalkers in Opal Yarn called "In Variation nach Hunderwassers Werk (637A): Wartede Hauser. The colors and pattern are based ona painting by Wolfgang Zwerger and Frederic Zwerger. The repeats are so long, it was impossible to make them identical. The socks were done on two circular, double point needles. My daughter is the proud owner.
